Animal Rescue
RexPaw's
We are a small group of individual's out here for the greater good. Our mission is to help those in need, those without a voice, the innocent's. Education on animal care, ownership, navigation of other options before surrendering a pet to a shelter.
About Us
Helping the Innocent's
We are an organization of compassion. We know we cannot change the world, however we would love to help try. From before we could drive, as kids we would bring home stray pet's. We were known as the one's to bring the pet's too when they were on the loose. We knew from very young animal's were going to be a big part of our live's. Before we started this rescue we did our own rescues and placement's some happy endings, some frustrating/angry outcomes and some sad one's too.
We hope that we can give back to the community as we grow and bring awareness to other issue's that plague and impact the animal world. We will bring attention to issues that arise such as BSL implemented in the Province of Ontario back in the mid-2000's, we will also outline way's to help, advocate and get involved. We will also have informative reads on shelter statistics and everyday animal care.
Services done by RexPaw's
We offer a few different services. Main service is, of course, Animal Rescue. We also provide local Animal Transport, We are operating on a low budget generated by volunteer's, so we are for now locally based. We will have education forum's for the whole family on pet care age's 2-100.
Service
Rescue Service
Our rescue services are for those animal's in need. Animal's seen loose on the street, hurt and injured. Also for individual's who need to, under different circumstances, re-home a family pet safely.
Service
Transportation Services
As stated before we are able to animal transport. What this mean's is we will be able to transport animal's out of shelter's to foster home's. At no cost, but to ourselves. We will also provide a service on weekends for people in the community who cannot, or find it hard to get their pet to a veterinarian clinic, there will be a very small fee for this, if applicable.
Service
Family and Pet Education Center
For this section of our mission we anticipate to help and aide people and their families with basic information on being a Pet Friendly Family. Information will range from care, basic training, obedience, fearful dog's, children's fear of dog's, Cat health, spay/neuter importance, and most helpful of all resources and links.
We would love to invite you, as we set out on this new journey, to help us grow and educate the community and other's. If you would like to join us as volunteer we would be more than happy to have you.
